¤ Mountain of Knowledge

'Only few find The Mountain'', he said. ''You see, the mountain is not a playfield, the journey to the top is very hard, the higher you get, the colder it gets; the more it asks from you. Many can finish it's foot, but when they have to get higher, they look up, they lose hope and they go to the grounds, which is the place where they go on. Go on with the treasure they have on the grounds. The treasure that holds no answers. Only fantasies. And it is these fantasies that feeds them, makes it easier for them to be there, instead of the path to the top of The Mountain.''

''Aren't there any other mountains around?'', I asked.

''Of course, but the questions is, are they what they seem? Many mountains have spells on them, they try to attract people, for example by sending out love and light. That's also why these mountains look so amazing to a man's eye. Even a blind can see this by smelling it's flower's divine. When one gets to these mountains with hopes to find The Mountain, many get stuck with it. The mountain has them under it's spell. And when it has, the people on that particular mountain get stuck, for thinking they have found the Treasure, thinking they have reached the top. And thinking this, they want to attract others to them. And that is exactly what those mountains desire.''

I looked outside the window, looked back at him. Thinking... ''You were mentioning a treasure... Is there also one on the true mountain; The Mountain?''

He smiled. ''Yes there indeed is. That is why people start to climb it. The treasures they have in their normal life, the grounds, seem not understandable, not valuable, not something to grasp on. Not something to take for granted. So they start looking for the true treasure, the treasure that makes them aware of who they are, not treasure that does the opposite.'' ''Then it starts, the hope raises and they start to look for The Mountain and of course you must know, that before they have truly found The Mountain they have been to the deceiving mountains aswell.''

I didn't understand. So I asked: ''But didn't you say that people get stuck on those deceiving mountains?''.

''Yes, but I haven't said what kind of people. You see, there are different kinds. The mountains of love and light attract people of love and light. They feed off of eachother, they give eachother exactly what they expect from eachother. Other people, who expect more than loose words, more than just love and light. They go on. They have seen the deceiving mountain, they have been under it's spell, but after short time, they have defeated it. Because of awareness. Because of hope and desire to find more. More behind words.'' ''And this finally leads them to The Mountain. And that's the point where the journey really starts.''

''Is there some kind of way to get to the top? Do you do this by yourself?!'' I asked out of great excitement and a frightened feeling the same time.

''There are many ways to get to the top. Some are more harder than others. That's why some people suffer more during the journey than others. This is simply because they chose for it. This is how it happens.
You asked, if you must do this by yourself. There are no rules on The Mountain. You make the rules. But remember, when making rules, you make bounderies. Someone who decides to do the journey alone, in hope that he will be the only one to find the treasure will logically fail, for the Treasure is not meant for one person. And the road to the treasure is not made for one person. Only a group can lead to the treasure. This group I'm speaking of exists of people who know eachother and people who do not know eachother. This is also why it makes it a journey. You learn all the time, by observing, networking, during the path. Which is only possible only with a strong group. And a strong group exists by combining eachother's knowledge, listening to eachother, networking and only reach to those who ask. Reach to those who have made it's foot and also are aware that they can only serve themselves by serving others. Because in a group, my friend, when one falls, only the group can pull him up. If not, that person will get very slowly on track again, or else, the group will. That's why they are all connected with one rope. The group is connected.'' ''However, there are members, who look very friendly, very full of knowledge, they are eager to help... but they are not what they seem to be... You could see them as the deceiving mountains. But they are different, they know the man's mind. This is also why a group needs to be connected, because when it is strongly connected, such deceiving people can be noticed. The group connects and they observe. When the man is noticed, they cut the rope, where the man is connected to. And he will be on his own.''

''Hmmm... But how can the group get longer and longer? I mean who will be leading, like... how can they go all together?''

''The Mountain is different from what you think it is. The ones who are in front are teachers, but remember, they have not reached the top, so they do remain students, but are teachers for those who are behind. And those who are behind are teachers of those who are behind them. Everyone passes their spot to another. And this is what we understand by serving oneself by serving others. It is one big network.''

I was looking at him. He was looking at the ground, then slowly turned his head towards the window. You could see his eyes, they were shiny, determined. His eyes started to close a bit and he started to look like he... like he is suspicious. Yea, a suspicious look. And at that point he started to say:

''There are not only deceiving mountains that are obstacles during the journey. There are also observers and takers. They know that the higher you get, the more powerful you get and the more less they can do to stop you. You see, they created the first deceiving mountains, and the people who were attracted to the deceiving mountains, made more deceiving mountains. Until there are millions and millions, so that the True Mountain, The Mountain, would fade. These observers, observe every step of your way. They do not like what you do. They feel threatened.''

''I would take some protection with me! What if they would push you off the mountain!'', I joked around.

''The path is your protection. The group. They can only stop you, if you let them.'' ''By falling off, by falling off the mountain yourself. Maybe they made you do it. But you were the one who chose to fall. Who chose to go to the grounds. To the mist of deceiving mountains.''

''The treasure... No one knows if someone has reached it. Or what will happen if someone has it, better to say, when a group has it. Nevertheless the treasure is of utmost importance. What if The Mountain gets lost completely? No. The ones who are on the path, and those who will reach the treasure in the end... They will pass it to others. And that is how this Mountain feeds. How this Mountain lives. By a group. By connection. By networking.''

---------

The next day I went to his place and we sat down. He was looking at my notes. Some things I did not understand. He started to look at me and said that I could start asking.

''Well ehh, this Treasure you mentioned, the one on The Mountain... w..what exactly do you mean by Treasure?'' ''I mean, isn't it kinda selfish that they all go up the mountain, only for the treasure?''

''My friend.'' He started. ''It is simply that one is at that point on the learning cycle. Some do not even know there is a True treasure. Like I said, there are many ways to the top. And some do not even know how hard and energy-taking this road is. And by saying treasure it does not mean treasure that are seen on the grounds.
Treasure is everywhere. It is on the grounds. On The Mountain and yes even on the deceiving mountains. But this does not mean, that all treasures are valueble, if they all have a meaning. If they all have pureness. If they all are True.
That is for you to find out. These unvalueble treasures also lay on The Mountain.
It is in the middle of the road, where you realise the last true Treasure Puzzle is on the top of The Mountain.
The ones who are quite far on the road realise that this road is no joke. They know that their chances for getting the treasure is little, if they do not keep going, which might be quite hard for them. And like I have said before, they do this, not only because they chose for it, but also because they are at that point of the circle that they are there where they are and do what they do and learn what they learn.
It is not only on the top where this treasure lies, that they are looking for. There are pieces of treasures along the way. You can see this as a big Treasure Puzzle. Every step of the way, you get a piece. In the end, when you have finished the road and completed the Puzzle, there is another Puzzle to solve.''
''Selfish, my friend, is a word belonging to those who have also Desire for True Knowledge, but only doing this in a wrong way. Doing this by manipulating others on the road. For not giving their spot to others behind them. Maybe even give wrong spots. Maybe even use the treasure-puzzles he has found on The Mountain thus far, to lurk others. For his desire. That, is Selfish. You may also call it Service to Self.'' ''These people get stuck in the end, for they only see what they want to see.''

''I see...''. All his sentences were flying inside my head... ''I eh.. you said yesterday that those that are ahead are teachers to those who are behind. But who teaches the ones who are ahead of the road?''

''Good question''. ''You see. Like I said before, The Mountain has no Rules. There are infinite treasure-pieces. There is no distance. Actually there is no real top. Because, you know, after finishing a Puzzle there are other Puzzels to finish, to solve. Though, I must say, that on every Treasure Puzzle journey there count different Rules. For example, for us, there would be time. And time, is what the takers and observers have created to slow us down. There is an amount of time that is ''available'' for you to reach all the puzzles you need. When the time is up, the last puzzle-piece shows up and if the last puzzle-piece fits your big puzzle, then you have finished it. And you can go on The Mountain.''
''The ones who have already finished six Treasure Puzzle's journey, they are the teachers to those who are ahead of the group.''

...

[Not finished and might change during my ''journey''] [The more I learn, the better I can explain this story]
